RICHMOND, VA, JUNE 5, 2024 – Special Abilities Network, an established agency focused on providing life planning strategies and support to families in the special needs community, has expanded its services and rebranded itself under a new name: All Needs Planning. The change reflects the agency’s desire and effort to broaden its scope to provide more families with the help and guidance they need to acquire services, meet their financial goals, and successfully address all the unique challenges typically faced by families raising a child with a disability or special needs.
“This change is a reflection of our dream to craft a world where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported in their unique needs,” said Kristin Carleton, Chief Executive Officer and Head Strategist of All Needs Planning, and a recent appointee to the Commonwealth Savers Board of Virginia.
Founded by Carleton; Mary McDirmid, Chief Operations Officer and Financial Advisor; and Dr. Kathy Matthews, Chief Clinical Officer and Family Strategist, All Needs Planning specializes in creating and managing comprehensive, concierge-model life plans, each of which includes a funding, legal, and support strategy customized to the needs and goals of the individual family. The agency is comprised of experienced professionals in all areas of special needs planning, who are also the parents of special needs children.
All Needs Planning works with families from all backgrounds, at every stage of life, and with a variety of special needs diagnoses. Their mission is to help ensure that all special needs families receive the planning and support they require and deserve.
“Our name is new, but the essence of our mission remains unchanged,” said Carleton. “That is to serve, support, and celebrate every unique journey with even greater passion and dedication.”
