RICHMOND, VA, May 23, 2024 – All Needs Planning is proud to announce the appointment of our own Kristin Carleton (Chief Executive Officer and Head Strategist) to the Commonwealth Savers Board of Virginia by the State Senate.
In this role, Kristin will be well positioned to represent the disabilities and special needs communities through her support of enhancing post-secondary opportunities and expanding the reach and efficacy of the 529 and ABLE (529A) programs, which is the savings program benefitting those with disabilities. Virginia was the first state in the nation to pass ABLE legislation, following the federal statute, and is the largest ABLE program in the country.
This prestigious appointment allows Kristin to use her extensive knowledge and experience in special needs financial planning to better serve the disabilities community and enhance opportunities available to special needs individuals and their families.
In addition to founding and leading other special needs planning organizations, Kristin has also worked extensively in the financial services field as both an advisor and a Registered Client Service Assistant, among other roles.
As the mother of a special needs child, Kristin has dedicated her life to building and managing life plans that help other families in the disabilities community receive the support and resources they need to enjoy fulfilling, happy lives.
