All Needs Action Roadmap

The overriding objective of All Needs Planning is to help protect your family and your loved one with a disability, allowing you to overcome obstacles and live the life you desire.

The first step in that process is for us to do a full, in-depth assessment of your family’s current situation, and to make detailed recommendations to provide you with a roadmap of how to achieve your goals. Our roadmap process is comprehensive and includes:

Care

From retirement to independent living to medical costs, your family will need a reliable financial plan that covers two generations. You will also need a care plan, and may need access to government benefits.

To assess where you are today and what you need in the future, we will:

• Calculate your loved one’s lifetime cost of care.

• Review your family’s financial statements and assets.

• Discuss your family’s goals including retirement, vacation, independent living, and more.

• Review and analyze findings from our discussion, your financial statements, assets, and other resources, and identify any gaps.

• Analyze your current and future government benefits eligibility and make recommendations for next steps.

Protect

A sound protection strategy is important for every family, especially for special needs families. In this analysis, we will:

• Review your current legal documents.

• Identify whether there are any gaps that pose a risk.

• Look at current insurance and do a full risk analysis to make sure your family is protected from risks such as premature death and disability.

• Look at tax efficiency.

• Analyze decision-making support.

• Address trustee and guardianship decisions.

Grow

Families experiencing disability are often living in survival mode day to day. The GROW portion of our framework helps families move beyond survival to grow into the future they deserve. In this section, we will:

• Review investment statements, goals, and the needs of your family.

• Consider the goal of generating income over two lifetimes.

• Look at person-centered plans for each member of the family

• Identify respite needs and gaps.

• Provide strategic investment recommendations.

Throughout this process, we carefully monitor how each of these three areas ties together, making sure that they are all “singing the same song” for the benefit of your family.

Your Role

At the end of the Action Roadmap process, we will present you with a comprehensive report that includes your Top 3 Action steps, and discuss the findings alongside our recommendations.

We will also provide you with a roadmap to implementation and identify what fees would be involved with that process.

Your responsibilities are as follows:

• Provide everything requested in the special needs planning checklist.

• Commit to attending four to five meetings.

Our Fee

Our fee for compiling your Action Roadmap report is $3,500. This is due at the time of signing the planning agreement, which we will send you via email. (Note that this fee could change depending on the complexity of your family and your needs).

Once we have delivered your report and we all agree on a path forward, we will then get straight to work implementing, monitoring, advocating, and continuing to strategize on behalf of your family!
